Description

The Nano USB-EURO is a smaller version of the original USB-EURO power supply I already make with just 1 Eurorack header.

The power supply is able to power eurorack modules from a 5V power bank or power supply like a phone charger!

I made this power supply so I could easily power a small case while out and about. This has enabled me make small dedicated systems for field recording or demoing my modules at exhibitions.

Many customers have asked if it is possible to cut down the original to make it shorter to fit inside small custom cases. While this can be done it just made sense to design a new NANO version!

The reduced size makes these ideal for small skiffs and DIY cases. The power supply contains a Meanwell power brick capable of supplying up to 410 mA at +/-12V.

To get the most out of the power supply use a 5V USB charger capable of delivering at least 2.5A. Fast charging smart phone chargers work well. A link to a 3A 5V power supply is given at the bottom of the page.

The input is USB Type B, personally I think this type of input is more robust than any other USB connector. The USB cable must be rated to at least 2.5A.

Like with any power supply you should not run it near it limit but 80% is enough for a mini case or for benchtop testing.
