The power supply converts 9-18V into the +/-12V power supply required for powering Eurorack modules.

The total output is 416mA across the +/-12V and 5V rails combined.

The DC input is 2.1mm Centre positive.

The shape of the PCB and M3 mounting holes make it easy to position the PCB making it possible to plug directly in the board.

Alternatively you can install an external jack wired to this cable to plug into the PCB jack.

….but soldering this requires experience with electronics and if done at your own risk. A multimeter can be used to test which pin of the jack is wired to each wire in the cable.

Ensure that the positive tip of the connecting cable is wired to the corresponding centre pin on the female jack installed.

The Ground wire from the connecting cable must be wired to the permanent ground of the Female jack.

I recommend this medical grade DC power brick by Meanwell as it has very low noise.

The power supply has short circuit protection and automatically shuts off when a short circuit is detected so it’s very safe.
