Add AC Bias level control to your uTape scrubber module!

The AC bias level has the following effects upon recordings

1. The higher the AC bias level the lower the distortion will be in the recorded signal

2. The higher the AC bias level is the more the previous recording on the tape will be replaced with the new.

Originally the uTape scrubber was balanced between the two, to allow for SOS recording but also to allow for good recording quality.

Using the expander allows you to record the best and worst quality recordings and even mix them together with SOS!

To install the expander just connect it to the main uTape scrubbers “AC Bias” socket using the shielded 3pin cable.

Module includes cable to connect to uTape Scrubber and mounting screws.
