Clocks, LFOs and bass tone frequencies with CV control in 2hp.

The slider control varies the output clock rate from approx. 1 cycle per 40s at the lowest position to approx. C2 (32Hz) at the highest position.

When using the top jack input CV the slider becomes an attenuator for that CV input. Signals from 0-5V signals can be used to increase the clock rate although the response is fairly linear but is not V/OCT. Using negative CV makes it possible to make the cycle time so long it is effectively paused! Using audio rate modulation can produce some interesting results…

The lower input jack can also be used to modulate the clock rate but has more range. When both CV inputs are used the total clock rate will be dependent upon the sum of the mixed signals.

The Clock output signal covers a full range of tempos from below 40 BPM up to 240 BMP with PPQN 8 settings. When used with PPQN 4 and PPQN 1 standards you will have twice and 8 times more range respectively.

The clock rate goes low enough so that the slider still offers a wide with PPQN 4 and PPQN 1.

For even more control of your clock signals try patching the 2HP VCLK output into a 2HP CLK DIV to divide the clock rate down.
