Repairs terms and conditions

1. Definitions:

  • “Customer”: The individual or entity submitting electronic devices for repair.
  • “Service Provider”: The company providing electronics repair services.
  • “Device”: The electronic item submitted for repair.
  • “Repair”: The process of diagnosing and fixing faults on a Device.

2. Service Agreement:

  • By submitting a Device for repair, the Customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
  • The Service Provider will provide repair services to the best of their ability, subject to the availability of parts and technical limitations.

3. Customer Responsibilities:

  • Accurate Description:The Customer must provide a clear and accurate description of the Device’s issues.
  • Data Backup:The Customer is responsible for backing up all data on the Device before submitting it for repair, as data may be lost during the process. 
  • Access to Device:The Customer must provide full access to the Device for diagnosis and repair. 

4. Repair Process:

  • Diagnosis:The Service Provider will diagnose the issue with the Device and provide an estimate of repair costs.
  • Customer Approval:The Customer must approve the repair estimate before any work is performed.
  • Parts:The Service Provider may use new or refurbished parts to complete the repair, depending on availability.

5. Payment:

  • Payment Due:Payment for repairs is due in full upon completion of the repair, unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Methods:Acceptable payment methods include cash, credit card, or other methods as specified by the Service Provider. 

6. Warranty:

  • Limited Warranty:The Service Provider provides a limited warranty on repairs for a specified period (e.g., 30 days) from the date of repair, covering defects in workmanship.
  • Excluded Issues:The warranty does not cover pre-existing damage, misuse, or issues arising from factors beyond the Service Provider’s control.

7. Liability:

  • Data Loss:The Service Provider is not liable for any data loss that may occur during the repair process. 
  • Limitation of Liability:The Service Provider’s liability for any damages arising from the repair service is limited to the cost of the repair itself. 

8. Return and Shipping:

  • Return Process:The repaired Device will be returned to the Customer according to the agreed-upon shipping method.
  • Shipping Costs:Shipping costs associated with returning the repaired Device may be borne by the Customer.

9. Cancellation:

  • Customer Cancellation: The Customer may cancel a repair request at any time, but may be liable for any costs incurred by the Service Provider up to that point. 

10. Governing Law:

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service Provider is located.
