Rewind time to find out about the history of tape and its pioneers.
Record using contact and condenser microphones in the style of the BBC sound effects dept.
Learn to splice tape into arrangements and loops as if you were a member of the Radiophonic workshop.
Experiment using lots of different tape machines including Beepboop Varispeed tape decks and some vintage tape delays.

Continuing on the theme of last years events and our recent workshop at En Masse festival, we’ll be revisiting making tape loops!

There are loads of different ways to make your tape loops longer and as a group we will explore them.

Tapes and tape decks and all equipment provided, but feel free to bring your own portable tape player 🙂

All tape loops you make here in the workshop you’re free to take home with you 🙂

Taking place at Elevator sound in Bristol from 1 until 5pm on Sunday 10th December.
